§ 1 Basic information
(1) The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you which data of your visit are used for what purpose. If you have any questions regarding the handling of your personal data, please contact datenschutz@cronimet.de.
(2) Constant technological development, changes to our services or the legal situation as well as other reasons may require adjustments to our privacy policy. We therefore reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time and ask you to inform yourself regularly about the current status.
(3) In the following, we inform you about the data collection when using this website. Personal data is all data that is personally available to you, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior. The legal basis for the temporary storage of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If you have given us consent to the use of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO the legal basis for the processing. You can revoke your consent at any time by e-mail to datenschutz@cronimet.de.
§ 2 Rights to information and revocation
(1) You have the right to request information about your data stored by us at any time, as well as their origin, recipient or categories of recipients to whom this data is passed on and the purpose of the storage.
(2) You may also contact us free of charge for any questions concerning the collection, processing or use of your personal data and their correction, blocking, deletion or revocation of consent.
(3) All requests for information or revocations regarding data processing should be directed to datenschutz@cronimet.de or to the address specified in § 1 section 4 by e-mail.
§ 3 Contact
You have the possibility to contact us via our e-mail address. Of course, we will only use the personal data transmitted to us for the purpose for which you provide us when contacting us.
§ 4 Data security
We maintain up-to-date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data against dangers during data transfers as well as prior knowledge of third parties. These are adjusted according to the current state of the art.
§ 5 Collection of personal data for informational use
If you merely use the website for information purposes, i.e. if you do not log in, register or otherwise provide us with information about the use of the website, we will generally not collect any personal data. When you visit our website, some information will be transmitted. These are:

§ 7 Applicant portal
You can apply via our application portal online at our company. Your online application will be forwarded via an encrypted connection directly to the HR department and, of course, treated confidentially.
Of course, we will only use your information to process your application and will not pass it on to third parties. Further information on data processing in the context of the application process can be found in the privacy policy of our application portal.
If you have applied for a certain position and it has already been filled or we consider you for another job that is even more suitable, we would like to forward your application within the company. Please let us know if you do not agree to a redirect. Your personal data will be deleted immediately after completing the application process, or after a maximum of 6 months, unless you have given us expressly your consent for a longer storage of your data.
§ 8 Data transmission
A transfer of your data to third parties does not take place, unless we are legally obliged to do so, or the data transfer is necessary for the execution of a contractual relationship or you have previously expressly consented to the disclosure of your data.
External service providers and partner companies will only receive your data if this is necessary to process your request. In these cases, however, the amount of data transmitted is limited to the minimum required. As far as our service providers come in contact with your personal data, we ensure that they comply with the provisions of the data protection laws in the same way.

B. Data categories, purposes and legal basis of processing
We process your personal data which we receive from you within the scope of the business relationships. This is generally contact data (name, address, telephone number and email address) and, if required as part of the business transaction, bank and payment (transaction) data (bank, account details, reference, and credit card information if applicable), information from publicly available sources, information databases and credit check agencies (e.g. Internet, trade register, credit agencies) as well as other data, which you voluntarily provide us with within the scope of processing a project or a contractual relationship within the scope of contract negotiations. We process your personal data exclusively within the scope of the legal terms, particularly under consideration of the regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the Federal Data Protection Act (“BDSG”). We process your personal data on the basis of the following described legal bases and for the purposes of
v contract negotiation, contract implementation and termination of the contractual relationship (Art. 6 sec. 1 b GDPR) e.g. fulfilment of a contract (e.g. delivery or performance of a service and payment transaction), general communication with business partners e.g. answering enquiries about products and services, contract negotiations etc.;
(1) based on consent given (Art. 6 sec. 1 a GDPR) e.g. despatch of newsletters or information correspondence, participation in marketing campaigns or surveys etc.;
(2) based on legal stipulations (Art. 6 sec. 1 c GDPR), e.g. to fulfil trade law or tax law retention obligations, to fulfil reporting or information obligations towards authorities, etc.;
(3) based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 sec. 1 f GDPR); e.g. measures for IT security or measures to ensure proper business operations, to protect the company code, enforce legal claims or defend legal disputes, to ensure compliance requirements, etc.
As we also use the contact data of the person you have nominated to us as a contact partner, we ask you to pass on this information to the affected employees within your company.
C. Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data
We transmit your personal data to authorities/public bodies if required due to primary legal regulations. If necessary, we transmit your personal data to companies within our company group if required to fulfil the purposes stated above in section B.
We employ external service providers for various business transactions as assignment processors in terms of Art. 28 GDPR. We have concluded order data processing contracts with these service providers to ensure that your personal data is protected. The above described recipients may also be located in countries outside of the European Economic Area (“third countries”). Third countries may not have the same level of data protection as in the European Economic Area. If data transmission takes place in a third country, we ensure that this transmission only takes place according to the terms of the legal regulations (chapter V GDPR).
D. Duration of storage
Personal data is generally deleted after expiry of the legal (primarily trade and tax law) retention periods. If personal data is not affected by legal retention obligations, it will be deleted once it is no longer required for the described purposes in the above section B. A different storage period can occur if you have consented to collection of the data.
E. Rights of data subjects
You have the right to receive information about your personal data we have saved, the right to arrange for incorrectly saved personal data to be corrected or, if relevant, to change or revoke your consent to data processing at any time, including without providing a reason with future effect, the right to restrict the processing of your personal data with future effect, to revoke the processing of your personal data with future effect or to demand the deletion of your personal data. Under the conditions set out in Art. 20 GDPR, you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which has been saved, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to transmit that data to another responsible party without hindrance on our part. Alternatively, you can contact our data protection officer stated under section A. In order to avoid any cases of misuse, we can request that enquiries are provided with a handwritten signature or that the enquirer is otherwise legitimated.

Privacy policy for use of video conferencing systems
1. Description of the processing activity
The data protection information is provided in connection with the use of the video conferencing system "Skype for Business".

3. Categories of data, purposes and legal bases of processing
We process your personal data that we receive from you in the course of using the video conferencing systems.
The following personal data are subject to processing:
User details: First name, last name, phone (optional), email address, password (if "single sign-on" is not used), profile picture (optional), department (optional).
Meeting metadata: Topic, description (optional), attendee IP addresses, device/hardware information.
If recording (optional): MP4 file of all video, audio and presentation recordings.
When dialling in with the telephone: information about the incoming and outgoing phone number, country name, start and end time. If necessary, further connection data such as the IP address of the device can be stored.
Text, audio and video data: You may have the opportunity to use the chat, question or survey functions in an "online meeting". To this extent, the text entries you make are processed in order to display them in the "online meeting" and, if necessary, to log them. To enable the display of video and the playback of audio, the data from the microphone of your terminal device and from any video camera of the terminal device will be processed accordingly for the duration of the meeting. You can turn off or mute the camera or microphone yourself at any time via the "Skype" applications.
To participate in an "online meeting" or to enter the "meeting room", you must at least provide information about your name.
Scope of processing
We use "Skype for Business" to conduct "online meetings". If we want to record "online meetings", we will transparently communicate this to you in advance and - if necessary - ask for consent. The fact of the recording will also be displayed to you in the "Skype for Business" app.
If it is necessary for the purposes of logging the results of an online meeting, we will log the chat content. However, this will generally not be the case.
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). In detail, this is done for the following purposes and on the basis of the following legal grounds:

- Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR for the data processing. In these cases, our interest is in the effective implementation of "online meetings".

- Incidentally, the legal basis for data processing when conducting "online meetings" is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR, insofar as the meetings take place in the context of contract initiation, contract execution and termination of contractual relationships (Art. 6 (1) b GDPR), e.g. fulfilment of a contract (such as delivery or provision of a service and payment processing), general communication with business partners, e.g. answering inquiries about products and services, contract negotiations, etc.;

Personal data processed in connection with participation in "online meetings" will generally not be disclosed to third parties unless it is specifically intended for disclosure. Please note that, as in the case of face-to-face meetings, content from "online meetings" is often used precisely to communicate information with customers, interested parties or third parties and is therefore intended to be passed on.
5. Duration of the storage of personal data
As a rule, personal data is deleted after the expiry of the legal (primarily commercial and tax) retention periods. If the personal data is not affected by the legal retention obligations, it will be deleted when it is no longer required for the purposes described in section B. above. A different storage period may apply if you consented to this when collecting the data.
6. Data subject rights
You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us, to have incorrectly stored personal data corrected or - if relevant - to change or revoke your consent to data processing at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future, to have the processing of your personal data restricted with effect for the future, to object to the processing of your personal data with effect for the future or to demand the deletion of your personal data. You are entitled, under the conditions set out in Art. 20 DSGVO, to receive the personal data concerning you that has been stored in a structured, common and machine-readable format and to transfer this data to another controller without hindrance from us. In addition, you can contact the data protection officer mentioned in section A. above.
